The short version
Every order over $120 comes with a physical scratch card in the parcel. There are 300 cards. One in four wins something. The promotion runs from 8 September to 19 October 2026, or until the cards run out.

2. When it runs
The Big Pink Rush opens on 8 September 2026 and closes at 11.59pm NZT on 19 October 2026, or earlier if all 300 cards have been issued before then.
3. Who can take part
New Zealand residents aged 18 or over, on orders shipped to a New Zealand address. Employees of Mode & Opal and their immediate families may receive cards but cannot claim prizes.
4. How you get a card
Cards are included in your parcel. There is no entry fee and nothing extra to fill in.
- Spend $120, unlock one card
- Spend $150, unlock a second
- Every Petal Pink bottle in the order unlocks another card on top
Thresholds are measured on the amount actually paid for products after any discount, excluding shipping. Cards stack, and there is no cap on how many one order can earn.
5. How many cards exist
There are 300 cards in total. Once all 300 have been issued, no further cards will be issued and the promotion closes, even if that happens before 19 October 2026.

A golden ticket includes $100 store credit, a Peachy Lip Co lip balm, a 4 pack of Moodi Pink Lemonade, and one entry into the draw for the pink Nespresso Vertuo Pop bundle valued at $409.99. There are five golden tickets and one bundle, so each golden ticket holder has a 1 in 5 chance of winning it.
Lip balm winners do not need to claim. The balm is already in your parcel.
7. How to claim
Scratch the pink circle, scan the QR code on the card, and complete the claim form. You will need the code printed under the scratch panel, your order number, the email address on your order, and a photo of the scratched card.
Each code is single use and is only valid if it appears in our register and has not already been claimed. Claims must be submitted by 11.59pm NZT on 24 October 2026. Claims after that date cannot be accepted.
8. The Nespresso draw
The pink Nespresso Vertuo Pop bundle is drawn at random from the golden tickets registered by 24 October 2026. The draw takes place on 27 October 2026 and the winner is notified by email within two working days. If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, we may redraw.
9. Store credit
Store credit is issued as Mode & Opal store credit within five working days of a verified claim. It is not redeemable for cash, is not transferable, cannot be combined with other discount codes, and is valid until 31 December 2026.
10. Returns and cancellations
Scratch cards are issued on the value of goods kept. If a return brings your order below the qualifying spend threshold, or removes the Petal Pink bottle that unlocked a card, that card no longer applies, along with any prize attached to it. Where a prize or store credit has already been issued, its value is deducted from your refund. If no refund is due, the store credit is reversed.
This applies to returns made by choice. It does not apply where goods are returned because they are faulty, and it does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
11. Lost, damaged or unreadable cards
Cards are not replaced if lost or damaged. A card whose code cannot be read after scratching cannot be claimed, so scratch gently.
12. Prize substitution
Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control, we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
13. Your details
Information you give us when claiming is used only to verify the claim and deliver the prize, and is handled in line with our privacy policy.
14. Changes
We may amend these terms where required by law or for reasons outside our control. Any change will be posted on this page. The promotion is otherwise run as described here.
